If someone tells you that they hate cats, chances are good that that’s the type of person you don’t want to know because if cats don’t get along with that type of person, you probably won’t either.
When people say they hate cats, it’s usually for the most illogical and irrational reason. While it’s possible to hate some cats, hating all cats for the actions of a few is just another form of ignorance and racism (except applied to another species).
As all cat owners know, each cat has its own unique personality. You won’t get along with all cats, but with a little flexibility, you can get along with most of them. Unless, of course, you’re irrational in which case you can use cats as a way to screen out the unpleasant people in your life.
