The next Marvel movie, “Captain Marvel,” is coming in March 2019 and already people are excited about it, not just for seeing a female superhero, but because Captain Marvel has a cat.
This cat, named Chewie in the comic books but named Goose in the movie, plays prominent role in the story that the cat even appears on the cardboard display put in theater lobbies. Many fans even want the cat to get its own superhero movie because the cat supposedly helps protect Captain Marvel.
Captain Marvel may be the first Marvel female superhero, but it may also be the first movie to feature a superhero that’s a cat as well.
