Jackie Lake of Halifax, Alberta has a cat named Baloo. When Jackie taped up a box containing tire rims and shipped them to Montreal, she didn’t realize Baloo had crawled inside. That meant then package wound up shipping her cat to Montreal as well.
Fortunately when the package arrived, the recipients found Baloo. Ten days later, Baloo was back at home, with the help of volunteers, who brought Baloo back to a welcoming family. Now Jackie jokes that she’s not allowed near boxes any more in case she accidentally mails her cat to another city by mistake.
