When Hurricane irma hit on September 10, 2017, Nancy Pearson lost her cat, Jerry. The family put out posters and searched the neighborhood but Jerry had disappeared.
Then a little over a year later, the Nancy got a call from Sarasota County Animal Services (SCAS) saying they had Jerry and had been picked up just 3 miles from his home. Thanks to Jerry’s microchip, Jerry got home just in time for Christmas, making it a merry holidays for everyone.
