Many countries have official government hacking groups. Strangely, the Iranian hacking group has been dubbed “Charming Kitten.” The real question is why is this group called “Charming Kitten”?
Unless Iranian hackers are targeting YouTube to post more cat videos online, it’s hard to imagine how they could charming in any way. Then again, given the nature of cats and their mischievous behavior, perhaps calling a hostile hacking group “Charming Kitten” is an ironic reference after all, much like calling a tall guy “Shorty” or a bald guy “Curly.”
