Dr. Seuss’s classic book, “The Cat in the Hat” has been enjoyed by generations of children for decades. However, a minor debate has surfaced. People are wondering if the Cat in the Hat is really a cat.

Just by examining the pictures, it’s hard to say that the Cat in the Hat matches the appearance of a typical cat. The Cat in the Hat does cause chaos so it behaves like a real cat, but few real cats wear hats, bow ties and gloves. Therefore the conclusion of many people is that the Cat in the Hat is not a cat at all.
