Student Gabby Tropea found an ill, stray cat under a bench on the university campus where she was going to school. She took him home and nursed him to health and that kindness came back to help her later.
One day, Gabby found herself locked out of her house. She tried the back door but that was also held fast with a wooden rod in the frame. Gabby tapped on the glass to get her cat’s attention and the cat dutifully pawed at the wooden rod until he pulled it out of the way, allowing Gabby to slide open the door and get back in the house again.
The next time you get locked out of your house, ask your cat to help. Then again, most cats will likely just stare at you and wonder why you ever left them in the first place.
