“Captain Marvel” has proven popular around the world and one favorite character is Goose, Captain Marvel’s cat. Of course to perform flawlessly, visual effects supervisor Chris Townsend said most of the shots of Goose were computer-generated images (CGI).
That’s because getting a cat to perform on cue is nearly impossible because getting a cat to do anything you want is nearly impossible. Because actress Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel, is allergic to cats, any time she’s holding Goose, it’s actually a computer-generated image.
Of course, when Goose reveals her real nature, that’s obviously computer-generated, but no matter how much is real and how much is fake, Goose the cat is still a fan favorite anyway.
