The Ismael Gourmet Deli in New York has a cat owned by the owner’s 10-year old son who has autism. One day a man showed up at the deli, paid for a soda, then snatched the cat and ran away. Surveillance video caught the crime and the owners were devastated that their son’s cat had been stolen.
Fortunately the owners spread the word on social media and due to social pressure and guilt, the suspect returned the cat and asked them to call the police. So now the cat is safely back home again and the criminal had the courage to turn himself in for his crime.
