Police always use dogs to sniff out drugs and chase down suspects. However, police in Pittsfield decided to have fun by claiming they adopted a cat to help them deter shoplifters.
This April Fool’s prank claims the cat will use its superior sniffing ability to identify shoplifting suspects in a supermarket. Of course any cat owner knows that cats will likely just take a nap or steal food off the shelves rather than catch any criminals in the act. That’s because most cats are criminals at heart anyway.
