David R. Sutphin was driving on I-94 onto the U.S. 20 exit ramp when he lost control of his vehicle and drove into a ditch. David claimed a cat made him crash but police suspect the real cause was alcohol.
Police did note that David appeared intoxicated despite his claims that a cat had run across the ramp, causing him to swerve off the road. So the next time you crash, feel free to blame a cat just as long as you don’t also appear impaired at the same time.
