Asia started the cat cafe trend where you can sip a beverage and enjoy a snack while playing with cats in an enclosed room. Now the cat cafe trend has spread across Europe and North America. However, many places still do not have a cat cafe and Vermont is one of them.
That may soon change because a woman is starting a Kickstarter fundraising program to pay for Vermont’s first cat cafe. Not only could this cat cafe rescue cats and increase their chance for adoption, but it could also bring tourism to the area.
