Sue Haworth, 53, and her husband Richard, 51, spent £10,000 on a 9ft-high cage in their garden in Huddersfield so their four “fur babies” had a safe space to play. Now their neighbors want them to tear it down because they claim it’s an eyesore and blocking access to a lane.
Neighbors complain that the cat structure devalues their property, but they aren’t taking into account that owning cats increases happiness. So if these neighbors don’t like the catio, perhaps they should simply get cats of their own and learn what joy cats can bring into their lives as well.
