When 19-year old Özgür Ege Şire heard strange muffled noises coming out of an oil well, he spotted a cat stuck in the muck. Thinking quickly, the teenage jumped in the oil well to rescue the cat.
Unable to climb out on his own, Özgür got help from other people who ultimately rescued him and the cat. The teenager’s selfless act saved the cat, which goes to show that any life is worth saving for a good cause.
