Although most people don’t have much of a choice in where they live, if you do have a choice, consider moving to a city that offers the best options for your cat. Trupanion (pet health insurance company) and Redfin (real estate brokerage) have teamed up to create a list of America’s most cat-friendly cities.
The criteria centered around the number of cat clinics, shelters and hospitals along with which cities were natural homes to plants that are toxic to felines. Redfin contributed to the analysis by looking at the number of cat-friendly homes — abodes with high ceilings, litter box space and patios — available in each of the cities.
So if you have a choice of where to live with your cat, look for a cat-friendly city so everyone will be happy.
