In Georgetown, an outdoor video camera caught an image of a huge animal climbing a fence. Due to the size of the cat, people initially feared that a mountain lion was prowling the streets.
However, Dr. Lee Morgan at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital says he and his assistant, Nackia Taylor, noticed that this cat had stripes on its tail, and mountain lions don’t have stripes.
That’s when they finally solved the mystery. The massive cat, thought to be a mountain lion, turned out to be just a large cat named Cookie. Now Georgetown residents can sleep safely at night, knowing that a large cat named Cookie is prowling the streets and not a mountain lion.
