People love cats, but when people can’t bond with a real cat, a toy stuffed cat makes a good substitute. When 4-year old Emily Bauer lost her favorite stuffed animal, a toy cat named Plurna, she sobbed for weeks as the family searched everywhere.
Then 14 years later, a neighbor found Plurna and returned the toy to the family. Emily recently graduated from high school but when she found Plurna, she couldn’t help but love the toy all over again.
If you can’t love a real cat, then love a fake cat. It might not be as fun as a real cat, but loving any type of cat can make life seem a little less daunting.
