In case you have plenty of room in your home and can enforce discipline on a cat, you might be interested in adopting a 30-pound cat named the Big Lebowski, named in honor of 1998 cult film. Of course shelter officials also note that the cat is nicknamed “The Dude” just like the Jeff Bridges character in the movie.
The 3 year-old was given up for adoption when his family moved, according Dupage County Animal Services. The cat came into the suburban animal services just west of Chicago weighing more than 29 pounds, but is down to 28 pounds thanks to a change in eating habits. However, it will likely need to diet and exercise some more to get its weight down to a healthy figure.
