Prisoners will do almost anything to get what they want so it’s no surprise that prisoners will find a way to smuggle drugs into prison using a variety of methods. In Russia, one enterprising person tried to smuggle drugs into prison using a cat and a collar allegedly loaded with 5.79 grams of hashish and 1.56 grams of amphetamine.

Unfortunately the cat got caught. Yet the cat managed to sneak away and escape before the trial, stealing the defense’s evidence. How the cat managed to escape remains a mystery, but it doesn’t sound like a coincidence, which goes to show that crime does pay but only if you’re a cat.
