In school, a common art project is to let students make molds of their handprints so that way they can preserve the size of their hands for the future. Similarly, journalist Kate Gray noticed that a cat had left its paw prints in brick near her home.

Apparently this unknown cat walked across the bricks as they were still soft, thereby immortalizing its paw prints in the material forever. So what better way to honor a cat than to see its paw print every time you step out of the house?
