Thanksgiving can be a time to get together and share a meal, but it can also be a hectic and possibly dangerous time for your cat. In between crowds of strangers and an overabundance of food, your cat could be face other holiday dangers as well.

Be careful with turkey bones that your cat may try to chew on. Also with guests coming and going, make sure no one lets the cat out by mistake. More importantly, be careful with fireplaces and fires since your cat could get too close and burn itself.

With a little preparation, you and your cat can have a safe holiday while enjoying lots of turkey in the meantime.
