Driving a truck can be a stressful job, which is why one truck driver, named Matthew, would take his cat with him on long hauls. Unfortunately in July, his cat, named Ashes, escaped.
Since then, Matthew kept traveling through Springfield where Ashes escaped, hoping to find his cat. Then in November, a woman spotted a thin cat on a cold day and decided to bring the cat to the Humane Society where they scanned for a microchip and found that Ashes belonged to Matthew.
Matthew is now reunited with his cat, which goes to show how important it can be to get your pet microchipped. After all, you never want to lose your cat.
