Back in 2014, 31-year-old Matt Taghioff of South East London wanted to adopt a cat. The animal shelter brought out a black cat that shelter workers warned had a permanently spooked expression on its face.

Matt took the cat home and named her Zelda. After sharing pictures of his cat with his friends, he started posting strange haiku-like poems to go along with her image. That brought about a surge of popularity for Zelda online to the point where book publishers started calling and now Zelda and Matt have a book out called “The Adventures of a Curious Cat.”

If you like cats, then you’ll likely enjoy Zelda’s book and her pictures. To learn more about Zelda and her book, click here.
