Cats generally won’t do what you want them to do, which makes them perfect criminals since nobody will suspect they’re doing anything wrong. At a penal colony in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, prisoners have found a unique way to smuggle in drugs by using cats.

The cats have drugs in their collars so they can slip past unsuspecting guards. Now that guards have found drugs in one cat’s collar, they’ll likely closely inspect other cats coming and going to a prison.

Since cats are good at disobeying rules, they make perfect criminals. Perhaps we should all start electing cats as our politicians as well. They might not be more honest, but at least they’ll be more lovable as they lie, cheat, and steal from taxpayers.
