Dan Brissey is on his fourth overseas tour as part of the National Guard. While stationed in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital and largest city, working as an engineer at a construction site, he noticed an orange kitten one day in a corner of the compound.

Brissey named the cat Sully and now needs to raise $3,000 to bring the cat home with him to the United States. Given how attached people can become to pets, it only makes sense for Brissey to keep Sully and bring him to a safe home so they can spend the rest of their lives together.
