If you live in a cold climate, you might want to get your pet a heated cat house. Some heated cat houses have warm floors that only partially heat the floor so that way if a cat gets too hot, it can shift to the cooler spot on the floor.

If you get a cat house for an outdoor cat, put it in a safe, dry place. That way your cat can stay out of the elements, get dry, and stay warm at the same time. Many cat houses aren’t designed to survive the rugged outdoors so put the cat house in an enclosed space.

Heated cat houses may be a luxury, but in the dead of winter, they can be a lifesaver.
