Cat cafes have spread from Asia to the rest of the world and now there’s a cat cafe, called Cats in Bloom, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. When Ivan Troychock turned 10, he decided instead of getting presents, he wanted guests to donate money to help the cat cafe instead.
Beyond people donating cat food, cat toys, and cat litter, people also contributed $500. Ivan said when he gets older, he wants to volunteer at the cat cafe, so perhaps that can be his 18th birthday present.
