The Forensic Investigation Research Station at Colorado Mesa University studied body decomposition and in separate incidents, forensic researchers unintentionally captured footage of two feral cats feasting on human corpses.
While there’s no definite proof that your cat will eat your corpse, there is evidence that it might. O:f course once you’re dead, you won’t need to worry about corpse-eating cats but you should be used to the fact that your cats will always come before you anyway.
