With the current coronavirus pandemic, people are worried that they might get infected and then infect their pets. So now researchers at Washington State and the University of Washington are testing if cats and dogs can get infected and if so, can they spread it?

Researchers are testing 100 pets but so far studies have shown that while cats and dogs can catch the coronavirus, they can’t spread it to humans. Of course, cats can simply pee on the floor and scratch your furniture so that’s probably nearly as bad as catching a virus from your pet.
