Everyone loves cats so it’s no surprise that cats keep popping up in movies. One of the latest movies from England is called “Cat in the Wall,” which is about a Bulgarian single mother feuding with her working-class British neighbors over the rightful ownership of an independent-minded family pet.

“Cat in the Wall” is meant as a metaphor for sociopolitical tension in the world of Brexit Britain. Naturally, the real star of the film is the cat because who doesn’t love a cat in any form of media?
