Most people are familiar with Catwoman from the DC Universe of Batman, but fewer are familiar with Black Cat, a similar cat burglar woman who is part of the Marvel Universe and Spider-Man. Since people like cats and DC Comics doesn’t seem interested in focusing on Catwoman, fans are clamoring for Black Cat to appear in the next Spider-Man movie.
Black Cat is both a villain and a friend to Spider-Man so this could provide an interesting dilemma for Spider-Man to face. Then again, people just like cats, just as long as it has nothing to do with that musical version of “Cats” that bombed in the box office.
