What makes cats so lovable? It’s that they do what they want and ignore everyone around them. In the latest study, researchers gave cats a choice between free food or performing a task for food. Call contra freeloading, most animals will perform a task to earn their food.
But not cats. Mikel Delgado, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine said that cats preferred the free food over working for their food, which makes them different from nearly every other animal in the world.
