People love cats and they seem to love them even more when they’re tiny and small. Yet the wild Rusty-spotted cat may be small, but it’s a lot more ferocious than its diminutive size might suggest.

Although the Rusty-spotted cat may be one of the smallest cat breeds in the world, they can be fierce hunters. One Rusty-spotted cat once jumped on the neck of a gazelle and had to be pried off.

While you can’t own a Rusty-spotted cat of your own, you can enjoy their presence just like a regular cat. Just don’t try to get too friendly with a wild one since they still have teeth and claws that can shred apart anything unfortunate to get in its way.
