Researchers from the University of Exeter surveyed UK cat owners to understand how they viewed their pet’s hunting and roaming activities on local wildlife. Based on this research, they identified five different types of cat owners.

One type of owner feels responsible for their cat killing wildlife while another could care less. Still other types of owners merely accepted the fact that cats will kill wildlife while others care more about protecting their cat while it’s outdoors.

With so many different types of cat owners out there, it’s no wonder no one can agree on the b best solution for dealing with cats killing wildlife in a neighborhood.
