The pandemic has hurt many businesses that rely on customers walking in and cat cafes are no exception. The KitTea cat cafe in San Francisco has resorted to asking for donations through a GoFundMe page that has raised over $40,000.

Part oft he problem is that fewer customers can enjoy snacks and beverages at KitTea, but another part of the problem is that feral cats have been having kittens and these kittens need a place to stay. So KitTea has turned into a rescue center for cats.

If you live int he San Francisco area or just want to help out, donate to KitTea or adopt a cat so they’ll be one less mouth to feed. Then when the pandemic is over, you can go visit your favorite cat cafe once more.
