Artificial intelligence can do amazing tasks and researchers let a neural network loose to see if they could make photorealistic faces of human beings. After the neural network succeeded at creating realistic images of people’s faces, researchers let the neural network try making pictures of cats.
Surprisingly the neural network failed horrendously in creating pictures of cats. Some cats had misshapen heads and others were missing limbs. Why AI can make realistic human pictures, AI still can’t make decent cat pictures, proving we all need to share more pictures of cat images on the Internet.
