Marty, a black Maine Coon cat, had lived for a dozen years at Mount Washington Observatory in North Conway, New Hampshire, recently passed away.

The Mount Washington Observatory staff have had a cat at the 6,288-foot (1,915-meter) summit, called the “home of the world’s worst weather,” since 1932. Let’s hope they find another cat soon to keep them company as they track the weather.
