With so many people stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, many people adopted pets to keep them company. However, once people start going back to work and leaving their pets at home alone for long periods of time, their pets may exhibit separation anxiety.

Rather than punish your pet, a far better approach is to focus on your pet’s needs and feelings. Try to make your home more stimulating by hiding treats around the home or adding more toys. The more you make your pet’s life interesting without you around all the time, the more your pet will learn to accept your absences during the day.
