In Brentwood, Tennessee, someone stole a Cat in the Hat statue from the John P. Holt Brentwood Library. This statue had been a fixture of Christmas for more than twenty years and was valued at $2,500.
Fortunately, whoever stole the statue decided to do the right thing and return the statue. Hopefully people will let the Cat in the Hat statue alone so everyone can enjoy its presence because as we all know, the presence of cats can make people happier.
