Cats often get themselves in precarious situations. In British Columbia, Emma Hutchinson’s cat, Willow, got stuck in a pipe underneath a concrete basement floor.
Emma called firefighters who needed a jackhammer to free Willow, a nine-month-old kitten. Although the firefighters had to break through a concrete floor, they finally managed to rescue the kitten, which made all their hard work worthwhile. What other kind of a job can give you that same sense of satisfaction seen in the happy face of a rescued cat?
