Kids love reading (at least when they’re young) and everyone loves cats. So special education teacher Despena Zouzas decided to write a book featuring a cat.

The book called “Nala Stands Tall,” uses the story of a cat to teach children about dealing with peer pressure. Essentially peer pressure often makes you feel forced to do something you don’t want to do, so this book teaches kids that they can resist peer pressure. Who knew a cat could teach us so much?
