It’s always a horrible feeling when you cat goes missing because you hope for the best but fear for the worst. When Caitlyn Wertenberger lost her Piper, her 19-pound tuxedo cat, she immediately put up flyers and searched the neighborhood.
Piper had gone missing for 28 days when someone moved into the next door house that had been vacant. That’s when they heard a meowing and discovered Piper stuck in the chimney. Piper was dehydrated and lost 7 pounds and no one knows how long the cat had been stuck in the chimney, but at least now the cat is safe and back home.
