Medical workers at a Turkish hospital in the city of Izmir had been leaving bowls of food and water out for an orange tabby stray. However they were surprised when the cat had given birth to a litter of kittens. Even more shocking was that the mother cat brought one of its ailing kittens into the hospital looking for help.
The kitten had an eye infection so doctors administered eye drops. Eventually the mother cat and her kittens were brought into the hospital and transported to a another facility for further monitoring. That just shows how much trust the mother cat had in the people who were leaving out food and water for her.
