Although bookstores are fading, you can still find a handful of used bookstores around. In many used bookstores, the most common resident was a cat since cats seem to be associated with literature.
Now Petaluma Pet Pals, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Petaluma, California, plans to open Morti’s Used Book Nook & Adoption Lounge. Now you can browse for a book to read and bond with a cat that you can adopt for your own home. For more fun, read a good book to your cat and spend more quality time together.
