The cheetah is the world’s fastest cat, which means if you ever get one as a pet in your home, you can count on a line running 70mph (112 km) through your legs to trip you up. The majority of cheetahs live in South Africa but India now plans to reintroduce cheetahs to their own country.

Five males and three females will make their new home in a sprawling national park in India in November. Hopefully the cheetahs will breed so India will have cheetahs once more and be home to the world’s fastest cat again.
