To avoid disturbing wildlife, conservationists set up cameras to capture images in their absence. That way they can track animals without scaring them away.

One camera in Cambodia recently captured a rare golden cat. This bodes well for conservation efforts and the more images the camera can catch of the golden cat, the more likely it’s thriving somewhere in the Cambodian forest. Although you won’t be able to adopt a Cambodian golden cat any time soon, you can still admire it from the pictures the hidden cameras may capture.
