In Englewood outside of Denver, Lily Rutledge-Ellison was walking with her boyfriend and her cat, Wesley. When Wesley spotted something under the outside patio deck, he went under the deck, and jumped out in fright.
When Lily’s boyfriend peeked under the deck, that’s when he spotted a mountain lion hiding underneath. The couple called authorities who tranquilized the mountain lion to remove it. So now Lily’s cat is a hero for alerting the couple to the mountain lion near their home.
