The Japanese cartoon figure, Hello Kitty, has been popular around the world for years. Yet the manufacturer, Sanrio, says that Hello Kitty is actually Kitty White, a British school girl who “was born in the suburbs of London.”
While Hello Kitty is not a cat, she does own a cat named Charmmy Kitty. If that doesn’t confuse you, then perhaps you can join the rest of the world in their collective disbelief, wondering what the Japanese will do next to mess with the world’s mind.
