For the past 10 years, Mamma Cat, a black and gold tabby, has been making her home in the vicinity of aisles 11, 12 and 13 — the paint department — of a Home Depot in Bakersfield, California. Employees even paid for cat food out of their own pockets.

Then after ten years, Home Depot evicted Mamma Cat. Fortunately, a Home Depot employee found Mamma Cat a new home, but that home likely is missing rows of paint along with strangers roaming up and down the aisles during the day. Still, Mamma Cat has found a new home and can hopefully improve upon that home with products purchased at Home Depot.
