There’s a saying that something is as difficult as trying to herd cats. The idea being that trying to control one cat is hard enough, but trying to herd a group of cats in one direction is nearly impossible.
That’s the idea behind National Cat Herders’ Day. While it’s not to celebrate anyone who actually herds cats, it’s to celebrate people who have seemingly impossible jobs that require corralling people to do something they wouldn’t normally do. Who knew that cats could play such an influential role in the world?
